Disciple = Active Learner -> Follower -> Example -> Reproducer

Are you a “Christian” or a “disciple”? It’s not a trick question; the terms refer to one and the same thing. As the book of Acts puts it, “The disciples [of Jesus] were first called “Christians” at Antioch.” (Acts 11:26)

Understanding the call of discipleship is crucially important if you think of yourself as a Christian. Regular reminders of what it means to be a follower of Jesus help us stay the course and remain focused on the mission. Starting a new year is a particularly appropriate time to “reboot.” With that, I hope you’ll take a couple of minutes to watch the following video. In this brief clip Dr. Bobby Conway of “The One Minute Apologist” gives a crisp and helpful description of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus.

God’s very best to each of you in 2017. Be a disciple and make disciples!
